Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Agvendo collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices users have across marketplace, support, billing, messaging, analytics, and notification workflows.

Effective date: April 17, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Agvendo collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects information when you use our website, APIs, marketplace tools, account features, subscriptions, messaging, support, notifications, analytics, and related services.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, including account details, organization details, profile content, listings, uploaded media, saved searches, saved listing watchlists, watchlist alert preferences, organization follows, followed-profile alert preferences, messages, support requests, contact inquiries, abuse reports, payment and subscription identifiers, notification preferences, and account deletion or appeal requests.

We also collect technical and usage information needed to operate and secure the service.

  • Login and API activity, request IDs, IP address data, user agent data, device and app metadata, and analytics events.
  • Saved-search digest, watchlist update, followed-profile feed, email delivery, push token registration, and read/unread records used to route notifications when enabled.
  • Approximate location derived from requests when configured, plus geocoding and search inputs needed for marketplace functionality.

How We Use Information

We use information to create and authenticate accounts, provide marketplace search and listings, support dealer and service provider profiles, remember saved searches and watchlists, maintain followed-profile feeds, enable buyer-seller and support messaging, deliver account and marketplace notifications, process subscriptions, prevent fraud and abuse, investigate reports, enforce our Terms, maintain security, operate analytics, improve product quality, comply with legal obligations, and respond to user requests.

Emails, Messages, and Push Notifications

We send account, security, support, billing, saved-search, watchlist, followed-profile, and marketplace emails from Agvendo-controlled addresses.

When mobile push is enabled, we use registered device tokens and notification preferences to route relevant marketplace, message, support, account, saved-search, watchlist, and followed-profile events.

You can manage available notification preferences in the product or through supported API and mobile settings.

How We Share Information

Public listings, public organization profiles, listing media, seller names, and profile details may be visible to other users and search engines.

Buyer-seller messages and support communications are shared with the participants and Agvendo support, safety, and operations staff who need access to operate support, moderation, safety, and compliance workflows.

Watchlist and followed-profile activity is used to power your own saved listing, alert, and feed features. We do not publish individual follower lists or show sellers the identities of users who follow their profiles unless a future feature explains that choice and gives any required notices.

We share information with service providers that help us operate Agvendo, including hosting, database, email delivery, payment processing, billing portal, maps and geocoding, file storage, analytics processing, push notification delivery, customer support, security, and logging providers.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, to investigate abuse, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

Analytics and Security Data

Agvendo uses first-party analytics to understand marketplace activity, listing performance, searches, uploads, saved searches, watchlist activity, followed-profile activity, account activity, and service health.

We limit analytics fields, hash or reduce certain identifiers where practical, and keep raw investigation data scoped to authorized support, safety, and security use.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies for authentication, session continuity, security, preferences, LiveView functionality, analytics, and service operation.

Browser settings may allow you to limit some cookies, but blocking required cookies can prevent sign-in or marketplace features from working.

Retention and Account Deletion

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, enforce our Terms, investigate abuse, comply with legal obligations, support billing and tax requirements, and preserve marketplace integrity.

Messages, support records, contact inquiries, abuse reports, listing history, price-change history, watchlist delivery records, followed-profile feed records, billing records, audit records, and security records may be retained when needed to keep conversations, investigations, reporting, and account histories coherent.

When you delete your account, access to that account is removed. Some records may be retained where required for legal, security, dispute, moderation, transaction-history, support, or platform-integrity purposes.

Your Choices and Rights

You can update account and organization details in supported settings, manage notification preferences where available, unsubscribe from optional emails where provided, and request account assistance through authenticated support.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, or appeal of certain privacy decisions.

Security

We use technical and organizational controls designed to protect information, including authentication controls, scoped staff access, rate limiting, audit trails, validated uploads, token handling, and service-provider controls.

No system can guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for protecting their own inboxes, credentials, devices, API tokens, and organization access.

Children and Geographic Scope

Agvendo is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Agvendo is operated from the United States, and information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the service, legal requirements, or operational practices change.

If an update materially changes how we handle information, we will provide notice as appropriate through the service, by email, or by requiring policy acceptance.
